The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet will be shutting down a portion of Millbrooke Drive on Thursday and Friday to allow for drilling to take place.
According to a news release, a geotech drilling crew will be on Millbrooke Drive at the North Fork Little River Bridge and data collected will be used to aid in the design of a new bridge that will be constructed there at a later date.
There will be no marked detour. Millbrooke Drive will be closed to through traffic at the North Fork Little River Bridge during daylight hours. Local homeowners may access Millbrooke Drive from the Country Club Lane end or from Pyle Lane.
