The organizers of the Pennyrile Walk to End Alzheimer’s are putting on a golf scramble—All Fore Ending Alzheimer’s—on July 14 and teams are wanted.
Appearing on WHOP Friday morning, organizer Cindy Hancock says it’s for a great cause and with registration costing $50 per person and $200 for a team.
The event will happen at Western Hills Golf Course with check in starting at 10:30 a.m., free lunch provided at 11 a.m. and a shotgun start set to happen at noon. Hancock says they will also sell mulligans and they will give out prizes for 1st, 2nd, 5th and 12th.
All money raised goes to benefit research in the name of finding a cure for Alzheimer’s. It goes to help fund research, patient care and support for those caring for a loved one battling the disease. This year’s Pennyrile Walk to End Alzheimer’s is September 29 at the Christian County Justice Center.
