The Christian County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a burglary that occurred on Butler Road and the suspect stole $21,700 worth of items.
According to the police report, the victim told deputies that he had returned home from being away for a few weeks and found the home broken into. Multiple items were reportedly taken, including Indian artifacts, scrap gold, tablets, portable video player, a roll top desk, a banjo and guitar, two smart phones, hand tools, engine parts, two doors, a dirt bike, food items and more.
Everything taken all together was valued at $21,690. A suspect’s name is redacted on the police report and the investigation continues.
