MLB Roundup-Reds, Cards and Braves win

The Cincinnati Reds scored four unanswered runs after the Los Angeles Dodgers took a 1-0 lead in the first to pull out a 4-1 win. Scooter Gennett went 3-for-4 with a homer and three RBI to supply most of the offense for Cincinnati, which has won three straight:

Elsewhere in the National League: The St. Louis Cardinals held off the San Diego Padres 2-1. Jose Martinez plated a run with a sac-fly in the first and Tommy Pham tacked on a solo homer in the fifth.

St. Louis has win six-of-eight as the teams play again this evening in San Diego.

Ozzie Albies’ grand slam ignited a seven-run sixth inning as the Atlanta Braves blasted the Miami Marlins 9-2 at Marlins Park. The Braves have won three in a row as the series continues this evening.
Following an off day, the Chicago Cubs host the cross town Chicago White Sox this afternoon at Wrigley Field.
