After six nights of eating, selling and raising cash the 68th WHOP Rotary Radio Auction ended Saturday night by meeting and exceeding its goal.
Auction Chair Kiley Killebrew did the honors of auctioning off the final item.
A total of 756 items sold over the six nights, bringing in just under $90,000. The diner and sweet shop did about $27,700 worth of business and the mini auction and general store garnered $1,458.
Cash donations to the Hour Club and Goat Club totaled $201,527 and total money raised by all facets of the auction came to $320,613.41.
Killebrew thanked everyone who played a part in making the auction a success.
All of the money will go to the Rotary Scholars and student loan programs to help graduates of high schools in Christian County attend college.
