The Colorado Avalanche defeated the Nashville Predators 2-1 in Game Five of their Stanley Cup Western Conference quarterfinal series last night at Bridgestone Arena. The game was scoreless until Nashville’s Nick Bonino had a goal at 10:18 of the third period to give the Preds a 1-0 lead.
However, Colorado struck back with a goal from Gabriel Landeskog at 15:49 to tie the game and Sven Andrighetto had the game winner at 18:32. The Predators still lead the series 3-2 with game six tomorrow in Denver.
