The 16th annual Men in Praise Volume 1 program will be held Sunday and all money raised during the musical benefit will go to nine-year old Caleb Bush, who is battling brain cancer.
The event will take place at Durrett Avenue Baptist Church at 6 p.m. and Ronnie Catlett says the performance is all about helping Caleb’s family in this difficult time.
Catlett says there are no tickets to attend, but they will receive a love offering for Caleb, who is currently undergoing treatments for his cancer.
Approximately 10 choirs from across the region will perform at the show and the Men in Praise organization often does outreaches for the community and tries to bring positive, Christian teachings to the area.
