Grace and Mercy has been announced as the recipient of a $2,500 grant from Monsanto.
As part of their mission the Grace and Mercy faith-based rehabilitation initiative will use the funds to purchase class workbooks and computers, according to a news release. Director Joanna Mack says, “Such donations make it possible for us to prepare our residents for work and transitioning into their new lives.”
Christian County farmer Micah Lester applied for the grant to go to Grace and Mercy and Mack says they are thankful to the Lester family and all farmers who have supported the ministry.
