Hopkinsville Police served a local man with a warrant for a drug offense Thursday and investigation led to new charges.
Hopkinsville Police went to a Hazel Street location and served 45-year old Michael Calvin of the city with a warrant for possession of a controlled substance in connection with an August 28th incident when he allegedly had seven Hydrocodone pills in an unlabeled bottle in his pocket.
The new charges of possession of an amphetamine, possession of a controlled substance and illegal possession of a legend drug come after police say a pat down revealed two containers on his person that held several pills.
