Hopkinsville Police charged a woman with assault and wanton endangerment Monday night after she allegedly struck a woman in the face while the victim was holding a baby.
An arrest citation for 37-year old Shinaka Cooper of Hopkinsville says it happened about 7 p.m. at a West Seventh Street location. The victim was holding a one-year old when Cooper is accused of striking her in the face with a wooden stick.
