Students getting ready for the new school year starting August 9th will have a chance to prepare at a pickle-themed event at the Hopkinsville-Christian County Public Library next week.
Carolyn Haddock, also known as Mrs. Pickle, will host a back to school event with the Christian County Literacy Council on August 1 at 4 p.m. The event has a new theme with HopKINDSville and Haddock says she’ll be there with pickle themed products and give tips on what kids can do to have a good school year.
She says the event is free to attend for elementary school students, including kindergarteners, but she does ask for people to RSVP so they can know how many to prepare a picnic for.
