UHA’s Miles to play for Hoppers in 2026 season

A second University Heights Academy baseball player will be part of the 2026 Hoptown Hoppers this summer.

The team announced on Tuesday morning that the Blazers’ Jaiden Miles, a senior pitcher/outfielder, will play for the Hoppers this summer.

Miles, a right-handed pitcher, is 3-0 with a 1.93 ERA and 42 strikeouts and 11 walks this spring. He has signed with Tennessee Wesleyan University.

He joins UHA teammate Hayden Hunt on the the Hoppers’ 2026 roster.

Hoptown also announced that pitcher Heath Henley would be returning to the Hoppers this season.

Henley, who was a fan favorite last summer with Hoptown, attends the Auburn University at Montgomery.

Last summer, Henley pitched 40 1/3 innings for Hoptown and had a 1-3 record with a 3.47 ERA. He struck out 23 and walked 17.

Meet the Hoppers is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. May 25 at Camo Caravan and the opening night is May 27 against Madisonville at Hopkinsville High School.
