Christian County High School has a new principal, as Leigh Ellen Malone was selected to serve in that position by the site-based decision-making council Wednesday.
According to a news release, Malone has most recently served as the assistant principal for the school since 2014—she began her teaching career in the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System in 2010. Malone transitioned from the classroom in 2013, serving as the Building Assessment Coordinator and Instructional and Behavior Coach before moving into her current role as assistant principal at CCHS in 2014.
Malone is a graduate of Austin Peay State University, Western Kentucky University and Murray State University and holds two Master’s degrees in education.
Malone says, “I am honored to be entrusted with the responsibility of leading the dedicated staff and incredible students we have at Christian County High School. I am committed to working alongside our teachers, parents, and community to support all of our students in achieving their highest potential.”
