Two women were injured in an accident Monday afternoon in Hopkins County.
The Hopkins County Sheriff’s Department investigated and says 39-year old Brooke McCord of Dawson Springs was southbound on KY 109 in an SUV and drove into the path of a northbound car operated by 35-year old Melissa Hibbs of Madisonville as she tried to turn left onto Highway 70.
Their vehicles collided and both drivers sustained injuries in the crash, according to police.
