Fort Campbell man injured in single-vehicle I-169 crash

A Fort Campbell man was injured in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 169 in Christian County Wednesday morning.

It happened just before 5:30 a.m. near the 8-mile-marker, according to the Christian County Sheriff’s Department, when a mechanical issue caused the driver, 20-year-old Jacob Hackney of Fort Campbell, to lose control of the vehicle.

The vehicle went off the roadway and collided with the guardrail, causing damage.

Hackney was transported to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for treatment of injuries to his hands and arms.
