Three charged with meth trafficking in Todd County

Three people have been charged with drug trafficking in Todd County following a traffic stop Sunday by the Todd County Sheriff’s Department.

According to a news release, Deputy Derek Baumann conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle and Clarksville Road and Seay Road for speeding and while behind the vehicle, he reportedly saw a large plastic bag be thrown from the window of the vehicle.

Contact was made with the driver of the vehicle, identified as Roberto Sandoval Lopez and two passengers, Brayan Royas Godoy and Hector Carlos Subias-Buran, all of Trenton. A search of the vehicle reportedly revealed quantities of suspect crystal methamphetamine—the large bag thrown from the vehicle was located and determined to contain additional meth.

All three were arrested and charged with trafficking in meth, tampering with physical evidence, possession of drug paraphernalia and several other charges.

The Todd County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Guthrie Police Department.
