A Hopkinsville man is charged with felony assault after he allegedly attacked a woman and child during a disturbance early Tuesday morning at a home on North O’Neal Avenue.
An arrest citation for 31-year old Coty Flynn says he body slammed a woman, causing her to briefly pass out and causing head and neck injuries that required evaluation at Jennie Stuart Medical Center.
When a juvenile in the home attempted to intervene, Flynn allegedly grabbed her by the hair and slung her to the floor, causing minor injuries to the child.
Flynn was still at the home yelling and screaming when officers arrived and was arrested for second-degree assault and assault in the fourth-degree (domestic violence).
