A traffic stop on West Seventh Street Thursday night led to the arrest of a Central City man for multiple felony charges and to the recovery of a stolen vehicle.
An arrest citation for 26-year old Zackery King of Central City says he was stopped at the Dodge Store after Hopkinsville police received notification of a stolen 2002 Chevy Trailblazer in the area.
King allegedly refused to comply with orders and fled on foot, but was soon caught and continued to resist.
A computer check showed King also had a suspended license and he was sought on a warrant for parole violation.
He’s facing new charges of felony receiving stolen property, fleeing or evading police, resisting arrest, operating on a suspended license and possession of drug paraphernalia.
