Gilliam wins GOP judge-exec primary, Pryor wins magistrate race

Fiscal Court Magistrate Jerry Gilliam will be the Republican challenger to longtime incumbent Judge-Executive Steve Tribble in November, as he defeated three challengers in a hard-fought primary.

Gilliam had 290 more votes than second-place Dan Mason, Tommy McGraw came in third place and Katie Moyer fourth.

Squire Gilliam says he will run on policies to grow Christian County and to be prepared for when that growth comes.

District 4 Christian Fiscal Court Magistrate Darrell Gustafson was unseated by Republican Challenger J.E. Pryor by a 57-vote margin and District 6 Magistrate Philip Peterson won re-election, overcoming James McKnight’s challenge by 70 votes.
