Todd County man served with murder indictment for 2020 wreck

A Todd County Grand Jury indictment warrant for murder was served Wednesday night against a Guthrie man who caused a 2020 fatal wreck on Graysville Road.

Kentucky State Police and the Todd County Sheriff’s Office arrested 26-year old Christopher Stokes of Guthrie on the murder charge and he’s lodged in the Todd County Jail on a $100,000 bond.

KSP says Stokes had been eastbound on Graysville Road about a mile from KY 181 on August 14, 2020 when he crossed into westbound traffic and collided with a vehicle driven by 68-year old Suzanne Rose Reynolds of Clarksville.

Reynolds was pronounced dead at the scene by the Todd County Coroner’s Office and Stokes was transported by EMS to Tennova Health Hospital in Clarksville.
