Kentucky reported 8,044 new COVID-19 cases from Tuesday to Wednesday, and the positivity rate stayed fairly flat.
The positivity rate is 21.99 percent, mostly unchanged from the day before—there were 34 newly reported deaths, bringing the death toll in the state up to 13,216.
There are currently 2,142 people in the hospital with COVID-19, 399 in the ICU and 200 on a ventilator.
