MORNING SPORTS BRIEFS 1/22/22

NFL

The Tennessee Titans host the Cincinnati Bengals in the AFC Divisional Playoff and will have running back Derrick Henry for the first time since October 31st. Henry was activated for the game yesterday. Kickoff is at 3:30 in Nissan Stadium.

The NFC Divisional Game has the San Francisco 49ers at the Green Bay Packers with kickoff at 7:15 pm.

NBA

Ja Morant had 38 points to go with six rebounds and six assists as the Memphis Grizzlies defeated the Milwaukee Bucks 122-118. Memphis returns to action Sunday at the Dallas Mavericks.

NHL

The Nashville Predators return to the ice this evening hosting the Detroit Red Wings. First puck drops at 7:30 in Bridgestone Arena.

Golf

On the PGA Tour: Patrick Cantlay at 14 under has a one shot lead over Tom Hoge heading into Saturday’s third round of The American Express in La Quinta, CA. Nashville’s Brandt Snedeker is tied for 12th at 10 under par.

Ernie Els, Vijay Singh and Stephen Ames are tied at 12 under par following Friday’s opening round of the PGA Tour Champions Mitsubishi Electric Championship in Hawaii. Five golfers are one shot back at 11 under.
