The New York Giants announced the firing of offensive coordinator Jason Garrett. Garrett was in his second season in the job and was let go after offensive struggles which came to a head in last night’s 30-10 loss at Tampa Bay. The Giants are ranked 25th in offense in the NFL this season.
Chicago Bears coach Matt Nagy denied a report that he had been informed he would be fired after Thursday’s game against the Detroit Lions, saying he has not spoken to the team’s leadership about his job status. The 3-7 Bears have lost five consecutive games.
