An Auburn woman was killed in a single-vehicle accident Tuesday morning in Logan County.
The Logan County Sheriff’s Office investigated and determined 51-year old Valerie Blanton of Auburn had been southbound on Cave Springs Road a few minutes before 7 a.m. when she sideswiped a guardrail before leaving the roadway and hitting a concrete pillar of a bridge head-on.
Blanton was unresponsive without a pulse when deputies arrived and she was pronounced dead at the scene.
