Milling and paving work is set to begin on several Hopkinsville streets on the Monday after Thanksgiving meaning portions of those streets will be closed or restricted.
According to a news release, portions of East Fourth Street, South Cherokee Trace Boulevard, Creek View Drive, Maplelawn Street, Millbrooke Drive, Cambridge Drive, Cardinal Drive, East 12th Street, East 19th Street, Maplewood Street, Henson Drive and Glass Avenue will be affected.
Operations will run weather permitting, and until complete. Motorists are encouraged to use caution and be alert for construction equipment and residents or business owners in the area that use on-street parking, are asked to move their vehicles to accommodate equipment.
