A large portion of Trigg Coutny was without power for about 45 minutes Tuesday morning.
Pennyrile Electric reported about 750 members served by the Canton substation north of US 68 near Lake Barkley were in the dark from about 10:15 until just before 11 a.m.
Brent Gilkey with Pennyrile says though a cause was never determined, crews responded quickly and got the power turned back on.
