No one was injured in a shooting incident Tuesday morning on East 18th Street.
Hopkinsville Police Public Information Officer Mike Atkins says people were sitting on the porch of a vacant home at 1019 East 18th a little before noon when occupants of a vehicle coming down the street fired a gun at them.
The people on the porch shot back, but everyone had fled before police arrived.
Several shell casings were recovered in the area, but there were no reports of any injuries.
At least a couple of vehicles in the area were hit and damaged by gunfire.
