Ten members of Western Kentucky’s football team have landed on Phil Steele’s preseason All-Conference USA teams. Defending C-USA Defensive Player of the Year DeAngelo Malone along with punter John Haggerty, offensive lineman Jordan Meredith and tight end Joshua Simon all made the First Team. On the Second Team were linebacker Kyle Bailey, safety Devon Key and wide receiver Jahcour Pearson, with defensive end Juwuan Jones, offensive lineman Cole Spencer and running back Gaej Walker on the Third Team. WKU is scheduled to open the season hosting UT Chattanooga on Thursday, September 3rd.
