The City of Hopkinsville was named a 2020 All-America City finalist and are currently accepting submissions for the 2020 All-America City Youth Award as part of the finals competition.
According to a news release, Hopkinsville became one of only 22 cities in the country to be named finalist in March—the award celebrates communities that engage residents in innovative and inclusive efforts to tackle critical challenges.
Hopkinsville and Christian County young adults, ages 14 to 25, are invited to submit a one-page letter of interest or nomination for the Youth Award. Youth may nominate themselves or they can be nominated by a community member. Nominations can be made by calling 270-890-0215.
This year’s program is targeted at highlighting exemplary projects and work to enhance community health through inclusive civic engagement.
