Two people were injured in a rear-end collision Saturday morning in Lyon County.
The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office investigated and says 23-year old Robert Hunt of Madisonville was westbound on US 62 and didn’t realize until it was too late that a vehicle driven by 72-year old Peggy Oliver was slowing ahead to make a turn onto KY 818.
Hunt rear-ended Oliver, injuring both drivers. Oliver was transported by EMS to a local hospital and Hunt was taken by private vehicle to the hospital, where he was treated and released.
