The Murray Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting that occurred Saturday night near North 16th Street.
According to a news release, officers responded to reports of a shooting near the intersection of North 16th Street and Lowe’s Drive around 11:45 p.m. Upon arrival, officers located a male victim who had sustained gunshots wounds. He was transported to an area hospital where he would later die of his injuries. No suspects have been named and the Murray Police Department continues the investigation.
