The Alzheimer’s Association is partnering with the teams at the Cornell Memory Center and Morningside of Hopkinsville to bring a Memory Café program to the community.
According to a news release, the Memory Café is a monthly social group providing a safe, comfortable environment where people with memory loss and their care partners can enjoy time together and remain socially engaged with others. The hope is for participants to have a place to interact, find support and celebrate without feeling embarrassed or misunderstood.
The Memory Café will take place the second Saturday of every month, with the first to take place on March 14. Those interested can register by calling 1-800-272-3900 and registration is required.
