Fire damaged a home on North O’Neal Avenue Monday afternoon.
It happened about 3:30 pm and began as a cooking fire, according to Hopkinsville Fire Department Battalion Chief Michael Henderson.
A pet rabbit was rescued from the home and returned to its grateful owner. No one was injured in the blaze, but three adults and two juveniles will be displaced.
