A traffic stop for speeding on US 68 in Todd County Saturday afternoon led to the arrest of the driver on drug charges.
Todd County Sheriff’s Sgt. Patrick Turner stopped 44-year old Steven Lowe of Bowling Green for going 81 in a 65 mph zone and there was an odor of marijuana coming from his car, according to the arrest citation.
A clear baggie containing three small tablets was located by Sgt. Turner in the console and Lowe reportedly said it looked like ecstasy to him. He was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia and speeding.
