Cadiz Fire Department Chief Thomas Futrell was injured in a wreck Tuesday when the fire truck he was operating flipped on U.S. 68-80.
That’s according to Trigg County Sheriff’s Deputy Danielle Adams, who says the truck was traveling eastbound on 68-80 when the front left tire blew, causing Chief Futrell to lose control. The vehicle crossed the median and rolled over before coming to a stop in the westbound lane.
He was transported to Trigg County Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
