A medical issue was likely a factor in a wreck Tuesday afternoon on Cox Mill Road that sent a woman to a Nashville hospital.
The Christian County Sheriff’s Office says the woman had a medical episode about 12:13 p.m. as she traveled near Huffman Mill Road on Cox Mill. She crossed into oncoming traffic and struck a trailer being pulled by a pickup truck before traveling off the roadway.
The driver of the truck tried to get off the road and out of her path, but was unable to do so.
The woman, whose name has not been released, was flown by Air Evac to a Nashville hospital.
