Emmy Blane and Tyler Shemwell each had home runs as Christian County downed Meade County 5-0 Saturday at Lady Colonel Field. Hannah Sumner pitched a two hit shutout in getting the win. In the second game, the Lady Colonels routed Massac County, IL 8-1. Tyler and Taylor Shemwell each hit home runs with Riley Hancock pitching four innings and allowing three hits and no runs in getting the win. Christian County improved to 11-2 with the wins.
Hopkinsville lost to North Oldham 14-0 in four innings Saturday. Taiya Straight had two hits for the Lady Tigers with Morgan Hodge in relief taking the pitching loss. Hopkinsville fell to 5-10 on the season.
Fort Campbell lost a trio of games Saturday, 16-0 to Murray, 16-0 to Livingston Central and 18-0 to Barren County. The Lady Falcons are 0-8 on the season.
