Murray State’s Ja Morant is among 30 players on the midseason watch list for the Naismith Trophy, given to the nation’s top player. Others on the list include Kentucky’s PJ Washington and Tennessee’s Admiral Schofield. The list of 30 will be trimmed to 10 finalists in early March, with the winner to be announced April 7th during the Final Four in Minneapolis.
Murray State returns to action tomorrow night at Austin Peay with tipoff at 8 pm, while Kentucky and Tennessee play Saturday night in Lexington.
