A former Hoptown Hoppers pitcher has died. Pete Harbold, who played for the last couple of seasons for the Hoppers in the Kitty League days of the 1950’s, died Tuesday at age 83. The Ohio native came to Hopkinsville in 1953, played two seasons for the Hoppers and never left. Funeral services will be held at 11 am Friday at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home with visitation from 4-8 pm Thursday evening.
