Former major league manager Tony LaRussa is convinced Nashville could support major league baseball and wants to be a part of it. The Tennessean reports LaRussa is part of an advisory group of John Loar, who wants to bring a franchise to the Music City.
LaRussa says with what’s been happening for the NFL’s Tennessee Titans and the NHL’s Nashville Predators in recent years, that baseball would be a natural. LaRussa currently works in a front office advisory role for the Boston Red Sox.
