West Kentucky Star.com reports former Mayfield High football coach Paul Leahy is dead at the age of 70. Leahy was an assistant for 22 years to coach Jack Morris beginning in 1971, with the Cardinals winning four state championships. Leahy took over the Mayfield program in 1994 and won state titles that year and in 1995. He was 73-12 in his six season span as head coach.
