Indictments returned for rape, assault

The first Christian County Grand Jury of 2019 returned multiple indictments, including on charges of first-degree rape and second-degree assault.

Indicted for first-degree rape, two counts of sodomy and first-degree sexual abuse of a victim 12 years of age or younger is 32-year old Kevin Hines of Crofton. According to the arrest warrant, Hines allegedly had sexual intercourse by forcible compulsion with a female victim who was 12 years old, beginning a few days before the start of the 2017 school year.  These actions, along with other sexual acts, have reportedly continued since that time, occurring multiple times a week.

24-year old Nicolas Gremelli of Janesville, Iowa is indicted on charges of first-degree and third-degree rape. He allegedly had intercourse with a 15-year old female when he was 21 in March of 2016 while stationed at Fort Campbell.  The following night, he reportedly forced the victim to have sex with him while holding her down after she told him no.

Indicted for second-degree assault is 21-year old Quadranay Thompson of Hopkinsville, who allegedly stabbed her husband in the hand during an altercation in November of 2018. He was able to drive himself to the hospital, where he was treated for the injury.

 

 

Also indicted for second-degree assault is 47-year old Tosha Johnson of Hopkinsville, who is alleged to have struck a female victim in the head with a car jack, causing physical injury in September 2018.
