Todd County had 10th lowest Nov. unemployment rate in Ky.

Unemployment dropped from October to November in all nine Pennyrile counties and Todd County had one of the 10 lowest jobless rates in Kentucky.

Todd County has had the lowest unemployment rate in western Kentucky for much of the last couple years—but boasted a 2.9 percent number in November—down from 3.8 percent in October and 3.4 percent a year ago.

Christian County’s jobless rate in November was 4.1 percent—down from 5.1 percent the previous month and from 4.7 percent a year ago. It represented 1,051 people looking for work and unable to find it.

Trigg County’s November unemployment rate was 3.7 percent, down from 4.4 percent in October and from 4.5 percent in November of 2017.

Livingston County had the Pennyrile region’s highest unemployment rate at 5.2 percent.
