A Hopkinsville man has been served with a felony theft warrant alleging he took tools from a job site over the period of a couple months.
The warrant against 22-year old Kaylob Meeks of Hopkinsville says that he was working for Heritage Bay Development between September and November of this year when he allegedly took tools and supplies with a combined value of $5,578.
Meeks has reportedly admitted to the victim he committed the theft and was recorded on a jail phone saying he “borrowed” the property.
He was already lodged in the jail on other charges when he was served with the warrant Wednesday afternoon.
