An investigation by Hopkinsville Police Wednesday morning at the Roadway Inn on Fort Campbell Boulevard led to the arrests of three people on methamphetamine charges.

Officer Gary Hicks saw 25-year old Nichole Temean of Buchanan, Tennessee sitting in a vehicle outside the motel at about 5 a.m. and based on prior requests from hotel management he stopped to be sure she was supposed to be there.

Temean told police she was with two friends on her way to a halfway house in Louisville.

She asked to go back inside their room to get her shoes and an arrest citation says she tried to shut the door behind her after initially saying the officer could go inside. She was seen moving things around in a nightstand and then fumbling with a purse before going into the bathroom.

Methamphetamine was located under the purse, which Temean said she hid for a friend. The friends, 29-year old Amber Mammock of Cottage Grove, Tennessee and 25-year old Kyle Thillemann of Clarksville, asked for an attorney.

All three were arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

A K9 alerted on a vehicle, resulting in Thillemann also being charged with marijuana possession. Temean was also charged with tampering with evidence and Hammock was served with a Calloway County warrant for contempt of court.
