Brice Long and volunteers from the Back to Back Foundation are delivering much-needed items to a total of 50 families in Christian, Todd and Trigg counties through Saturday.
Long stopped at WHOP before making his Christian County deliveries Thursday morning and says this is a week he looks forward to all year long.
Brent Gilkey chairs the Back to Back Foundation Board and says the families are picked out by personnel at local schools who come in contact with individuals in need of a little help at Christmas.
Long says this week wouldn’t be possible without the support of those who sponsor or attend his annual summer concert and those who simply make a donation or volunteer.
He also thanked Walker Thomas for loaning out a truck from Kentucky Moving and Storage to make the deliveries and for providing personnel to help pack the truck.
This is the 14th Christmas that Long and his group have helped local families.
