Louisville stunned number-eight Michigan State 82-78 in overtime in the ACC/Big 10 Challenge last night. Ryan McMahon scored 24 points including 12-of-13 free throws to lead the Cardinals. They’re now 4-and-2 and visit Seton Hall on Saturday.
In other action: Vanderbilt drubbed Savannah State 102-85 in the Commodore Classic. The Commodores meet NC State on Saturday. Women’s action saw Murray State lose at Arkansas State 74-63. The Racers return home to face Alabama A&M at 5 pm Saturday in the CFSB Center.
