Focus 21st Century Minority Leadership will be hosting a forum discussing student discipline in Christian County Public Schools this week and the public is invited to attend.
Schoolboard member Tom Bell serves on the Positive Behavior Intervention and Support committee and says the public will hear from several professionals explaining the code of acceptable behavior and what the levels of discipline are.
Bell encourages parents to attend and bring their students, because they want to make sure those students know what to expect and to succeed in school.
The forum will take place at Virginia Street Baptist Church at 6 p.m. on Thursday. Focus 21st Century often hosts forums handling local issues, such as unemployment, housing and more. For more information about the student discipline forum and other upcoming events, like the group on Facebook.
