A Trigg County grand jury indictment for trafficking in opiates was served Wednesday against a Cadiz woman.
The Christian County Sheriff’s Department served the indictment against 27-year old Amanda Shanks of Cadiz, who was already lodged in the Christian County Jail.
She is being held on a $2,500 bond.
