Woman hurt in car vs. deer crash

A vehicle versus deer accident Wednesday night on I-24 injured a Hopkinsville woman.

Christian County Sheriff’s Sgt. James Dragoo investigated the incident and determined that 61-year old Lillian Greenwade had been westbound near the 92 mile-marker when a deer entered her path.

Greenwade attempted to avoid a collision, but was unable to do so.

She was taken by EMS to Tennova Health Hospital in Clarksville for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
